CV EX Event Location
Exhibition Grounds: 4835 Headquarters Road, Courtenay, British Columbia
To get to CV Ex, you need to head for Courtenay on Vancouver
Island, about 214km north of Victoria.
From the Nanaimo Ferry
When you get off the ferry from Vancouver, head north. The new Inland Island Highway (Route 19) gets you from Nanaimo to Courtenay in a little over an hour, or take the old ‘Oceanside Route’ (Route 19A) north of Nanaimo if you like a scenic route. Take the Courtenay exit, and head through the city (along Cliffe Ave.). Follow the signage to "CV EX" at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds on Headquarters Road. Follow the signs north.
In Courtenay
If you are coming from the south and follow the old highway around the bypass (by Superstore) just keep going straight - don't turn towards Campbell River when you pass Canadian Tire. Go straight through the intersection. You will now be on Headquarters Rd. In less than 2km you're there!
From Campbell River and Points North
Look for the turn-off from the Old Island Highway ( right at lights on Vanier & Veterans' Way) just before the Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler Dealership. If you accidently miss the right hand turn, you can continue down the hill and turn right at the traffic lights at the bottom by the Shell station (Headquarters Rd).
