Community Involvement

The Comox Valley Exhibition Fall Fair Association has always teamed up with other community organizations to help with education and awareness.

The Comox Valley Exhibition Fall Fair Association, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, consists of volunteers who work year round for no gain other than the personal satisfaction of staging the Comox Valley Fall Fair. We appreciate your assistance in making the Fall Fair a success. We invite everyone interested in the exhibition’s continuing success to contact the exhibition office at 250-338-8177, for information on how you can volunteer and make a difference in your community.

The Comox Valley Exhibition Fall Fair Association support the community by through hiring non-profit organizations to help at the fair and by donating the use of equipment to non-profit organizations. Some of the organizations we have contributed to are:

The Comox Valley Exhibition is not in the business of making a profit. The purposes of the Fall Fair are to:

1. Educate and entertain the public with the diversity of agriculture within the Comox Valley, by having displays of antique and modern methods and products, including value added products.
2. Provide a venue for the Comox Valley 4-H Clubs to hold their Achievement Day in view of a Comox Valley audience.
3. Provide a public showplace for all growing sectors; agriculture, silviculture, and aquaculture, as well as for the hobbyist,home gardener and household cook to have their products evaluated against provincial standards.
4. Promote awareness of the Comox Valley agricultural products.
5. Provide affordable family orientated entertainment.
6. Educate the public in the matter of environmental protection as related to agriculture
